Learn to weave a scarf workshop

***this is a TWO day class****

We will be learning how to weave a scarf on the Ashford Sampleit loom. The workshop will teach you:
how to warp the loom, winding the warp on and sleying the heddle.
how to hemstitch the beginning and ends of your scarf and complete the fringe.
how to choose and use colors together in weaving.
how to maintain proper tension while weaving. (this is the hardest part)

At the end of the workshop you will have your very own completed scarf. Just in time for winter !!!!

Looms will be supplied for the class
Supplies also include 2 skeins of yarn. You can bring your own yarn but it needs to be strong enough to be put under tension while weaving and a medium weight, no lace, fingering or really thick art yarns.
