This is a multiple day class:
Tuesday, July 17 – Thursday, July 19th 1-4pm
Discover some of the many uses for 3D design and printing. We’ll explore creating designs in TinkerCAD, and learn how to print them out on the 3D printers here at MakerLab. Students will spend 3 days learning the software and how to translate their ideas to a finished print. Students will be able to print out their designs. We’ll create a name tag and a custom zipper pull. If time permits, students can create an additional design to print.
Suitable for ages 10+
Students will need to bring a laptop. We have a small number of loaner laptops available. Please set your child up with a free Autodesk account for TinkerCAD prior to the camp. https://www.tinkercad.com/
