A casual night of cosplay fun! Come to work on a project using our large worktable or hand tools, or to show off what you’ve been working on, or to get help with a project. Or just chat and meet other cosplayers! Event will be live-streamed on IG by Eshelman Leatherworks.Free to attend. Donations welcome.

MakerLabNw Holiday Party



Community is key to us here at MakerLabNW, and so we’re reaching out to you all in our amazing maker community to come celebrate the holiday season at MakerLab! We’re going to be spreading our good cheer with fun make and takes, hot cocoa and cider, prizes, and an amazing bake sale to help raise some money to keep MakerLabNW running strong.

Modern Embroidery with MCreativeJ



Have you ever wanted to learn how to embroider? Kick off the holidays with a two hour hand embroidery ornament workshop! Spend your afternoon learning a modern take on a vintage craft with local hand embroidery artist Melissa Johnson of MCreativeJ. In this hands-on class you’ll learn some basic hand embroidery stitches such as the satin stitch, back stitch, reverse chain stitch, French knot, running stitch, and whip stitch. These ornaments are perfect to hang on your tree or give as a unique gift. All workshop materials are provided and no embroidery experience is required. All skill levels are welcome in this class. Ticket cost includes one ornament kit. Additional kits available to purchase from instructor.
Materials Included:• One 3-inch embroidery hoop• Cotton fabric• Green, red, and white embroidery thread• Sewing needle• Felt• Twine • Take home instructions
**Class needs a minimum of 4 people signed up before the 6th, or class will be canceled.**
Refund policy: We currently do not offer refunds or transfers between classes. You may, however, transfer your ticket to another person who is 18 or older. If you need help finding someone to take your spot, you are welcome to post in the class event on our Facebook page, or ask us to share your email address with the class waitlist.
For your personal safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and avoid any dangling jewelry or baggy clothing.
You do not need to bring a printed ticket.
